I'm a James Brown addicted :)... and I like a lot of his songs... but Funky Drummer is like the Funky Drums Anthem, the funk beat manifesto that all the Producers must know!!!!! J.B.'s... The Grunt... Sax Isolation....

Another dope sample isolated.. this is the famous Sax line used by producer Hank Shocklee (Bomb Squad)  in "Rebel Without a pause" by Public Enemy.
The Sax was played by Maceo Parker ( James Brown, J.B.'s, Parliament-Funkadelic ).

James Brown.. The Payback... Guitar isolation...

Another one dope sample isolated... Guitar isolation is not so simple.. and the resulting is very far from the original.. but it is good enough for a very creative use...

The sample we're talking about is the wah wah guitar from the incredible song "The Payback" by Godfather of Soul James Brown.. The guitar player who recorded this famous guitar session was Hearlon Cheese Martin... and He is the only Remaining guitarist from the Jb's alive.
